Ensure your tree is the right size for your home.

Keep your tree away from heat sources to maintain freshness and help retain needles.

Getting It Home

Ideally, take your tree straight home. Avoid using the heating as this will dry out your tree.

If transporting on the roof of a car, ensure it is securely strapped and drive slower to avoid high winds, which can also dry out the tree.

Storage Before Use

Trees can drink up to 4 liters of water on their first day at home.

Upon arrival, cut an inch off the bottom of the trunk and place it in a bucket of water in a sheltered spot for a few days prior to decorating.
