New sofa on its way and nowhere for the old one to go? We’ve partnered with Clearabee, so Sterling Home customers can have unwanted furniture collected and responsibly recycled.
Who are Clearabee?
Clearabee are the UK’s largest on-demand rubbish clearance company, with their own local teams and vans across the country. They collect bulky items like sofas, beds, mattresses, wardrobes and tables, and take them to licensed facilities where as much as possible is recycled rather than sent to landfill.
Book online
Choose the items you’d like taken away, pick a collection day and pay on Clearabee’s Sterling Home partner page. You’ll need your Sterling Home order number or proof of purchase.
Get things ready
Group your items together. They can stay indoors if you’re home on the day, though leaving them outside means the team can collect without disturbing you.
Collection day
Clearabee will text you when their team is on the way. Just make sure they can reach everything you’ve booked.
Recycled responsibly
Once your items reach a licensed facility, you’ll receive a Waste Transfer Note by email showing how much was recycled or kept out of landfill.
Good to know
Furniture collections are arranged and carried out by Clearabee, not by Sterling Home, and our delivery teams aren’t able to take old furniture away. Bookings, pricing, collection times and any questions about your collection are all handled directly by Clearabee.
Prices depend on the items you choose, plus a call-out charge per collection. You’ll see the full breakdown before you pay.
